Success Is
Only for the Gurus...
... Or IS IT?
Why is it that 95% of people
don't realize
their dream of earning money online and give up?
Ebusiness should be simple
right?
In fact the
process of earning money online is simple:
Create a website and wait for orders.
Of course you know this already but it's not quite that simple is it?
All those sites that promise instant riches just take your money and
run.

when
you have figured out that they don't work.
First there's some good news
and...
... there's some bad news.
Let's get the bad news out of the way first.
"Building a
website takes WORK"
OK it's not some magic push-this-button-and-get-an -instant-$100,000!
Now for some good news.
"With the
right Information You Can Succeed"
BUT you have to bring something to the table...

- Well I assume you're intelligent - you've got this far and realized
it's not the usual buy-this-now - this is different.
Action
- You must take action it's no good reading this stuff and not doing
anything you have to put it into action.
Motivation -
you
must be motivated - you must want to succeed online because this drive
to succeed will allow you to push through all your plans into success.
Actually there are a few other things you need ; faith to take
action, belief that when you see 'REAL' information you can see it for
truth and then take action. (Lots of people - I am sure you
are
not one of them - read loads and loads but never do anything with that
information).

A Journey
Note:
This site is about my journey to an online business and I am sharing it
with you because I know you can succeed just as I have done and I know
that the only difference between success and failure is The
Right Information
and that's all - there are no tricks to success and there is no get
rich quick scheme. All you need is to apply the correct
processes
and you will succeed.
When I started out I had
the same dream as you
and that was to start earning so I could support my family and
not
have to work for a Boss anymore and not be limited by the hours I work
or the dollar value attached to those hours - not to mention getting
rid of the
commute!
The problem is that earning income online
sounds as though it should be easy and this
means it's too easy to jump in and not realize
that you're doing it all wrong (until it's too late).
You know that there are millions of people searching for
products and
information on line (just look at Amazon and Google). So what
can
be so hard about developing your own product or service and
selling it online?

- Develop

So all you
do is create a simple website put it online and wait for orders.
...BUT...
...It Does Not
Work!

My Results
I tried so
hard - I spent months developing a product and website -
and the result:
NOTHING!!!
It was an almost complete waste of time and effort!
All my expectations fizzled into nothing.
Talk about depressing.
The trouble is that "You
Have the Right Idea" - You Know that it must be possible
to make money from the internet because:
- The
internet is huge so there are infinite possibilities.
- There
are ever increasing number of users coming online.
- People
buy stuff more and more online.
And you can
see some
wildly successful sites e.g. ebay, askthebuilder.com etc. + thousands
more, and all you want is a slice of that pie - even a small slice will
be enough.
You know there is a global market that can connect directly to your PC.
You just know deep down two facts -
- You
have a unshakable desire to succeed.
- You
know that somehow the internet is the key to that success.
By the way
you are right - it is possible to succeed - but you have to know the
right way.
Following a Recipe
Strangely
enough building your own website that
works is just like following a recipe.
Imagine for a moment that you are going to bake a cake - you've got
everything ready in neat little bowls BUT
instead of following the recipe you chuck everything into
the tin
and throw it in the oven - after that you turn on the oven.
Now at the end of the cooking time
you hope something will have worked.
Do you think it will?
Of Course Not!
You know exactly why - everything was done in
the
wrong order and there is simply no way that you'll ever get a cake and this is the exact
analogy for building a website.
Unfortunately there are many people who quite frankly don't know what
they are talking about giving out the wrong information because that's
the way everybody says to build a website (also it's nice to think you
could build a website overnight and do no more work).
Would you ever take on a complicated recipe without first knowing what
the result will be? Of course not you will have seen the pictures that
entice you to try it out. Why do you believe the picture -
because you are convinced that it is real it is a picture of the final
product. You absolutely know that if you follow the recipe to the
letter that you will get exactly what is shown in the picture.
Warning:
There are many snake-oil-sellers online will paint a picture
of untold wealth which is irresistible using all the psychological
triggers to make you buy the product (usually costing far more than you
can really afford). These
Get-Rich-Quick merchants promise you riches without really telling you
what you will be getting and when you buy, you find out that it's
an empty pocket. (I don't do that on this site - you can
learn everything before you make any decisions at all).
...BUT...
I accidentally found a tool (after my misadventures) that
provided up front information (and a guide
- just like a good cake
recipe) and it did not have all that buy now rubbish before this date
with XXX amount of addons if you complete the transaction.
No, it was quite refreshing for several reasons:
- It
showed a do-able method of making a website.
- It
showed other people that had already created successful websites.
- It
showed ordinary people like you and me actually succeeding!
The other
convincing thing I found was that on the web you could find examples of
people who used the tool and there were not very many negative comments
about it (of course every person has his own opinion and some are right
and some are wrong but the overwhelming opinion for this tool was that
it is ideal for a beginner and even useful for advanced users).
Warning:
There are many, many people promoting the wrong information to make the
quick buck and they don't really care whether the information is good
or not as long as they get your money. Be very careful of
sites
that take your money without showing you what you will get and always
check that is not a scam.
It was not
just one person who had succeeded but many hundreds. To be
honest I was skeptical and really checked them out and checked out some
of the prompted websites to be sure that it was not fake.
Note: Most
providers of website creation tools do not usually give you any
information about their clients success - mainly I think because they
don't have successful clients! - One term you will hear is "The Churn Rate"
which is a term used to describe the rate of failure and compared to
the rate of take up by new customers (before their dreams are dashed by
the total complexity of the tools and knowledge required).
